The amount of sunlight determines the pumps performance time.

Made of polystone, this attractive water garden fountain features qualities of weather, corrosion and rust resistance. Polystone feels like porcelain to the touch, has a definite weight, and has an ability to mold the most minute detail. It is a compound made up largely of polyurethane resin mixed with powdered stone additives that give it added weight and the "stone-like" feel that resulted in its name.  It is durable and highly effective at maintaining a sharp paint finish.
